Friends!

These are pictures from a few weeks ago. Allison, Jeff, Drew and I all went to dinner and then went and saw Shawn McDonald in concert. It was a really fun night and a good break from school! Then a couple are from when I went to the KOT dance with Bo--We went to the Robbie Seay Band concert  and then we had a great time two-steppin! 

Next are some pictures from when Megan, Jip, Jeff and I went to see John's tennis match. 

God has really blessed me with great friendships this semester--I am so very thankful! 

Beauxs and Arrows

Hallloo! This last weekend was our formal for the semester. It's called Beauxs and Arrows or really just "Beauxs" for short. My date's name was Bo also! He was a lot of fun--we didn't know each other extremely well so it was really cool to get to know him. (fun fact--His mom has been leading a bible study for my roommates and I at our house this semester, which has also been really awesome!) Megan, Sadie, and I all met at our house and took a few pics before heading to the dance. Julia (the social chair) did a really good job this year. The dance was at the Phoenix Ballroom down kinda by the Brazos. It was really pretty set up--the table arrangements reminded me of a wedding reception. They had all different types of cupcakes for dessert and a candy bar--made me think of you mags. After the dance we went over to Bo's and had a fire and cooked smores. It was good just to hang out with friends after. I also let Maggie borrow my dress soo if you see pics on facepage don't be too confused! 

just letting you know what i'm up to...

 Right now I am studying for a Microbiology test. I thought well even though I don't have kids, i'm not working in a cool new restaurant aspiring to be the next top chef, or traveling the world I could still let you all know what I am up to...so here are some really fun pictures!!

Sorry I am such a horrible blogger...I just don't have many things to blog about these days. I don't think blogging about Physics, Ochem and genetics would be very interesting?? However...today was kind of a sad day. Natasha Richardson aka Elizabeth James (parent trap mom) died today after a tragic ski accident. I was devastated after I heard the news and I wanted to call Jennifer so badly-- Jennifer I even facebooked tyler to see if he had talked to you and if you already knew.  I hope we can talk about this soon...

Sorry this is so delayed! It has been a really busy couple of weeks. I've had a lot of tests and quizzes--yuck. But I thought I would post some pictures from Pledge Dance. The themes was "P is for PiPhi." You were supposed to dress up as anything that started with a P. 

There is a big joke here at Baylor that the PiPhi's don't wear pants. They just wear leggings and big shirts all the time. There is even a facebook group about it called "Pants for PiPhi." Soooo... yeah that is what we decided to dress up as. We wore leggings and a button up flannel shirt with PiPhi sunglasses. There were some really creative costumes (parents, potties, prayer box, pilgrims, president obama, post-it notes, peter pan..etc). The new pledge class planned the whole dance and it turned out to be a ton of fun. 

I miss you guys at home! love you so much!!

These are some pics from my 21st! There were 18 of us that all went down to Austin to celebrate! It was really fun. We went and had dinner at this place called Iguana Grill on Lake Travis. After that we went to this cool cafe called Spider House (it is like common grounds on steroids). And then we walked down 6th street before we headed back to Waco. It really was such a fun night! Haylee got to come down which made it that much better! I miss you guys and wish you could have been there! I love you so much!
